Energy is Contagious
Whatever you build in to your business, whether through your writing, your online presence, your social channels, your offers, is an opportunity to communicate the kind of energy you bring to your work.⠀
I’m in #Vegas for a few days for a conference. Though I’m not usually one for the crazy pace of this city, I have to admit that it’s got a certain kind of magic.
When you step off the plane, the brightness everywhere and the persistent buzz gives the impression of a city that literally never sleeps.
Even a more laid back, small town loving lady like me gets pulled in to the hype and excitement and I feel almost guilty about sleeping.
Imagine how this works for your business as well. Whatever you build in to your business, whether through your writing, your online presence, your social channels, your offers, is an opportunity to communicate the kind of energy you bring to your work.
This goes for positive energy as well as negative energy. The way you show up to your audience will be absorbed by them and they will remember, physically, how you made them feel.
So how do you want to make your audience feel? When you build your offers, create a delivery model that feels right for allowing you to use your energy in the best way possible. If you hate video and that makes you seem uptight and uncomfortable on camera, don’t build a video course just because it’s popular. If you feel more comfortable with one-on-one than groups, don’t build a group program just because it scales better.
If your business model doesn’t give you the opportunity to create the kind of energy you really want in your business, then it’s time to shift to one that does.
Tell me in the comments…
Do you think that you’ve created a business that is aligned with your natural energy or are you fighting all the time to be something that doesn’t feel right?⠀
